Suspended slabs and structural concrete that hold the program.
Bondek composite, post-tensioned and conventional suspended slabs for Sydney commercial buildings. From two-storey retail through to mid-rise office and mixed-use. Placed, finished and signed off to AS 3600 — and to your engineer's spec.
What we deliver
The structural concrete on a commercial build is the program. If it doesn't come up clean and on time, every follow-on trade chases its tail. We work as a Tier-2 subcontractor for Sydney head contractors and developers, taking the whole structural concrete package — formwork, reinforcement, placement and finish — and putting it on a single accountable line.
Typical scope includes Bondek composite slabs, conventional in-situ suspended slabs, columns, walls and core works. We place to AS 3600 and finish to whatever class your specifier has called — most commonly Class 2 off-form for unseen structure, Class 1 where the soffit is exposed.
Where we add value
- One accountable subcontractor. Formwork, steel-fix, placement, finish — one PO, one claim cycle, one supervisor on site.
- Program discipline. The pour rhythm dictates everything that follows. We resource for the slab cycle you've put on the program, and we hit it.
- PT-slab capable. We place and finish post-tensioned slabs in coordination with your PT subcontractor (typically Structural Systems, VSL or BBR).
- Engineer-friendly. If your structural engineer wants placement temperatures, slump tests, cube strengths and curing records, you'll get them.
Project size sweet spot
We resource well for projects with floor plates from 400 m² up to about 1,800 m² per pour, and total builds anywhere from $1.5M to $20M of structural concrete value. Larger packages we scale to — and we'll be honest if a job is outside our wheelhouse rather than overpromise.
Standards we work to
- AS 3600 — Concrete structures
- AS 3610 — Formwork for concrete
- AS 1170 — Structural design actions
- AS 3735 — Concrete structures for retaining liquids (where relevant)

Common questions
Are you Tier-2 prequalified?
Yes — current prequalifications with several Sydney head contractors and developers. We can supply our full prequal pack (insurance, licences, SWMS library, project references) at award.
Do you handle post-tensioned slabs?
Yes. We place and finish PT slabs in coordination with your PT subcontractor. Placement standard is higher and we resource for it accordingly.
What pour size can you handle in a day?
Typical single-pour capacity is 400–1,800 m² for a suspended slab, depending on access, pump configuration and concrete supply. Larger pours we plan and resource specifically.
Do you provide concrete or just labour?
We organise the full package — concrete supply (typically Boral, Hanson or Holcim depending on locality), pump hire, reinforcement supply, and placing/finishing crew. Or labour-only if that suits your model.
