Residential · Driveways & Crossings
The driveway that sets the house.
Exposed aggregate, coloured and burnished concrete driveways across Sydney. From single-residential to long acreage approaches — finished to a standard that holds up under the cars and the eye.
Driveway finishes we deliver
- Exposed aggregate. Sydney's most popular premium finish. River pebble, granite or basalt aggregate exposed at the surface through a controlled set-and-wash process. Range of colours and aggregate sizes.
- Coloured concrete. Full-depth pigmented concrete using CCS, Geostone or Boral integral colours. The colour is through the slab — chips and wear don't reveal grey beneath.
- Burnished finish. Repeated trowelling at the right cure stage to produce a tight, low-sheen surface. Architectural and contemporary.
- Broom finish. Traditional broom-finished concrete for utility driveways and rural approaches.
What's included in a driveway job
Site assessment, council vehicle crossing application (where required), excavation, formwork, reinforcement (typically SL72 mesh and bar around perimeter), concrete supply, placement, finishing, control joint cutting, and final clean. Total time on site for an average residential driveway is 3–5 working days.
Council vehicle crossings
If you're replacing the driveway from the kerb up, you'll need council approval for the vehicle crossing portion (the section between your property boundary and the kerb). We handle the application and the work — including the kerb cut, the crossing slab to council standard, and the council inspection.
Standards we work to
- AS 3727 — Pavements (residential driveways)
- Council vehicle crossing standards (varies by LGA)

Common questions
How long does a driveway take?
Typical residential driveway is 3–5 working days from break-out to finished. Larger or split-level driveways may run 7–10 days. Weather extends timelines — we don't pour in rain or extreme heat.
How much does it cost?
Plain concrete driveways typically $150–200 per m². Exposed aggregate $220–300/m². Premium finishes (large pebble, custom colour, complex shape) $280–400/m². Free quote with site visit — see Cost Calculator for indicative pricing.
What about the existing driveway — do you remove it?
Yes. Demolition, removal and disposal of the existing driveway is part of the package. We work with licensed waste haulers.
Do I need council approval?
You don't need approval to replace the driveway within your property boundary. You do need approval for any work in the road reserve (the vehicle crossing). We handle the application.
