Ocon Concrete Group

For Architects

For architects and specifiers

If you’re writing a concrete specification for a Sydney project, we’re worth a conversation before you finalise. Fifteen years on the trowel gives us a useful read on what’s achievable in different finishes, what mix designs come up clean, and where specs go wrong.

What we work on with architects

  • Off-form architectural concrete. Class 1 and Class 2 AS 3610. We’ve delivered both — the formwork investment is the deciding factor.
  • Polished concrete floors. From design-stage advice on slab spec (mix, finish, control joints) through to the polished result.
  • Architectural floating stairs. Engineering-coordinated, custom formwork, finish out of the form.
  • Coloured concrete to match palette. We work across CCS, Geostone, Boral, Ablecrete and Heidelberg — happy to advise which supplier best matches your reference.
  • Pool surrounds and water features. Cantilevered coping, slip-rated finishes, water-edge detailing.

Specification advice — no obligation

If you’re early in a project and just want to talk about what’s possible, send us the brief. We won’t quote you on a job that isn’t built yet — but we’ll give you a builder’s perspective on the spec so you avoid the common traps.
